Valentine’s Day Card Exchange

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Cheverly is cool,
And, we love bringing Valentine’s Day cheer to our neighbors.

The CPRC’s Valentine’s Day Card Exchange is back by popular demand! Sign up your child(ren) to create and exchange Valentine’s Day cards with Cheverly Village members around town. CPRC children and Cheverly Village members will be placed into groups so that everyone knows how many cards to create and where to deliver them. This is a great, safe way to provide Valentine’s Day cheer to your neighbors!

Please note that the deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at 5pm.

How it works
  • Fill out the sign-up form for EACH child participating. One form per child.
  • Each family/child should put out a clearly marked Valentine’s Day box, basket, or bag in front of their home on Valentine’s Day (Wednesday, Feb. 14) to receive their cards. Pinterest is full of inspiration for these kinds of things!
  • The CPRC will provide you a list of individuals in your group. Please create and provide a Valentine for each person in your group. Depending on the number of participants, groups will be broken up into approximately 8 or 16 participants (groups may be larger depending on how many people sign up). You may participate in as many as two groups.
  • On Wednesday, Feb. 14, have your child(ren) deliver their Valentines to the friends on their list between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
