Cheverly American Legion
The Cheverly American Legion Post 108 hosts special events open to the entire community. Enjoy larger events with live music included in the “108 Music Series” or join them in the Dug Out bar for holidays. Many of the events are family friendly and special accommodations are made to provide kid friendly snacks and drinks.
Cheverly Community Market
The Cheverly Community Market is committed to offering a vibrant market that strengthens the community through providing fresh, nutritious food from local sources, and encouraging unique local businesses and artisans. They create an atmosphere that fosters community, inclusivity, and educational activities, while encouraging local economy.
Cheverly Swim and Racquet Club
Cheverly Swim and Racquet is a private club located in town that offers a secluded oasis of summer fun including swimming, tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball and more. They are open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, seven days a week.
Progressive Cheverly
Progressive Cheverly is an organization of area neighbors concerned about the future of our community, state, country and world and who believe that the promise of a fair, sane and safe world will happen only with a more informed, engaged and active citizenry.
Cheverly Boys & Girls Club
The Cheverly Boys and Girls Club offers sports programs for children between ages 6-16. They offer both developmental (intramural) and select sports programs serving children of all ability levels. The club is a member of the Prince Georges County Boys and Girls Club.
Cheverly Recreation Council
The Cheverly Recreation Council develops a well-rounded recreation program and coordinates among all governmental agencies and community organizations interested in recreation. The council also encourages, evaluates, publicizes, assists, initiates, and conducts year-round programs of recreation for all age groups. Meetings are held monthly.
