Cheverly School Fair
Join your neighbors, fellow parents, school officials, and others at the Cheverly School Fair on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2-4pm at the Cheverly Community Center! This event will help Cheverly families learn about the variety of school options available to them and connect with parents and/or staff at these schools to learn more. Each participating school will have a table to share materials. Prospective parents can talk with current parents (and potentially other school representatives) about their school experience. As with last year, we will invite representatives from the Prince George’s County Public School lottery office to be on hand to answer questions.
This fair is open to all types of schools from preschool to high school: public, private, co-ops, homeschooling options, etc. If your school provides summer camps, this event is also a great opportunity to share these details and dates with parents!
Call for volunteers
Cheverly parents are encouraged to volunteer to represent their child/children’s schools at the fair. There will be two 1-hour slots (2-3pm or 3-4pm, or both) to sit at your school’s table and talk to interested parents about your school experience. The list of schools in the sign-up sheet below is not exhaustive. If your school is not represented, please add it! The deadline to confirm your school’s participation is one week prior to the event (January 21).
